Contractors All Risks Insurance Policy

Our Contractors All Risks Insurance Policy protects the insured project against material damage or liability towards third parties while you are executing civil construction work.

This policy is obligatory for contractors and it is acceptable by bankers, consultants and Govt authorities for approval purposes.

For whom this policy is issued

• Main and Sub-contractors
• Consultants
• Principals, Project Owners

Interest Covered

• Project Materials/Structure under construcion
• Contractors Plant and Machinery
• Temporary Facilities

Risk covered under the policy

• It is all risk policy and in general it covers Fire & Allied Perils, Act of God Perils, Perils Associate with civil and engineering work unless and other wise specifically excluded by the policy.

Period of cover

• Project period with extension for maintenance

Excess or Deductibles

• Various deductibles are applied for various perils  are to be agreed before executing policy

Price (Premium) we collect/ Basis

  Rate depends upon the project, location, period and value

General Exclusions

• Consequential Loss
• Willful misconduct, intentional damage, demolition as per order
• Political Risk of any kind
• War and Terrorism
• Nuclear Risk
• Pollution, Leakage and Seepage
• Workmen’s Compensation
• Motor Liabilities

Special Exclusions

• Depends up on the projects
• In case of a claim due to the above perils,
  • Immediately
    • Inform the police/Fire brigade immediately\ Local Authorities immediately, protect and minimize the Loss whatever\however you can.
    • Protect the damaged property till Insurance Surveyor arrives Inform our nearest office by phone

  • Subsequently
    Submit the below documents:
    • Police Report
    • Estimates for Damaged items or Repair
    • Investigation Report if any
    • Any other relevant document that Insurance surveyor or Company requires
