AMAN obtains approval to operate in Syria
AMAN, Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Company, has obtained approval of the Syrian Insurance Supervision Authority to operate in Syria under the name AMAN Syria for Takaful Insurance, being the fourth Islamic insurance company to enter the Syrian market.
Mr. Hussain Al Meeza, CEO and Managing Director said that the Syrian Insurance Supervision Authority have awarded the final license to Dubai Islamic Insurance & Reinsurance Company to operate in the Syrian Arab Republic and this step comes as a part of AMAN’s strategy to expand in the region.
AMAN Syria will offer all classes of Takaful business and follow the lead of it’s sister concern AMAN Dubai which is one of the leading Takaful operators in the Middle East. |
